They showed up on time as scheduled, and did what they said they would do. Pricing was very reasonable, and they used excellent quality Miller velvet paints, and a little Sherwin Williams also. They came back a week later as promised, and did all the little touch-ups we found. There were not many, as they do check for minor touch-ups before they leave, and then they have the crew take care of them. But we are very picky here, and they accommodated us no questions asked; with smiles on their faces.

Ramon and his crew did a great job painting my home both inside and out. Some of the work was intricate and they worked with caution but were extremely thorough. I felt like I got a great value for the money!

Amazing! Alex and team made this whole process as stress free as possible. They had my confidence from Day 1 as they arrived on time and setup in a meticulous manner and worked steady with a great amount of attention to quality. Some days they worked 12 hours and still cleaned up the job site so that you never knew they were there. They know what they are doing and their team has a lot of pride in ownership in getting the job done right rather than short cuts. This is the first contractor that I have had working on my house where I was proactively kept informed of status and any issues.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does exterior house painting cost in Happy Valley?
Mor most house painting in Happy Valley painting projects, you’re looking at $3 to $9 per square foot, depending on prep work, paint quality, and house size. A full repaint on a typical 2,000 sq ft home usually runs between $5,000 and $12,000.
A 3-story home typically takes 5 to 7 days start to finish. That includes setup, surface prep, repairs, painting, and a thorough cleanup—assuming good weather and an experienced crew with the right equipment, like 30-foot ladders and scaffolding, if necessary.

Expect power washing, scraping loose paint, sanding, priming, and repairing siding or trim damage. For house painters in Happy Valley, the biggest prep challenge isn’t moss—it’s hardened paint baked on by frequent sun exposure.

Late spring through early fall offers the best conditions—dry weather and moderate temps help paint cure properly. Aim for days that are 50–85°F with no rain in the forecast.
You generally don’t need a permit to repaint your house. Exceptions may apply for homes in historic zones or when doing major siding repairs—best to check with the city if you’re unsure.
Choose a high-quality acrylic exterior paint with UV protection and mildew resistance. It’ll handle Happy Valley’s sunny stretches, moisture, and keep its color longer. Paints like Sherwin-Williams Emerald, Miller Paints, and Rodda are good choices.
Painting your own home might save money upfront, but hiring professional house painters gives you better prep, cleaner results, safer execution, and a warranty—especially important on tall or complex homes.
Reputable painters typically include a workmanship warranty on top of any product manufacturer warranties. It covers issues like peeling or bubbling paint and reflects confidence in their prep and product quality.
Most homes need repainting every 7 to 10 years, depending on paint quality, color choice (darker colors fade faster), and sun exposure—especially on west- and south-facing sides.
Yes—professional house painters can and should repair cracked fiber cement siding and rotted trim before applying primer and paint. Skipping this step means your new paint won’t last, no matter how high-end the product is.
