WHAT SHOULD I DO TO GET STARTED?

First of all, call us for a free estimate. I will go to your house at a time that it’s convenient for you to do a walk-around. The walk-around takes about 15 minutes, at that time we will discuss about your project, what we need to accomplish for you, and we will evaluate the work to be done. After that, I will provide you with a written estimate which will include work description, procedure, material to be used, price, etc. Finally, we pencil you project in our schedule.

WHAT ARE THE STEPS TO PAINTING MY HOUSE EXTERIOR?

To start, we need to pressure wash your house. After it dries, usually the next day, we start with the “prep work” which includes scraping, sanding, priming, caulking, etc. Then we begin painting.

ABOUT HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO PAINT A HOUSE?

That depends; a good painting job requires a game plan that includes the necessary preparation, painting techniques and proper material. We will be up front and advise you honestly about the time needed to properly complete your job.

WHAT KIND OF PAINTS DO YOU USE?

Usually we use Sherwin-Williams and/or Miller paints. But we can use any kind that you prefer.

WHAT KIND OF PAINT “FINISH” SHOULD I SELECT FOR MY HOME?

That depends if you like a glossy or a flat look in your house. Glossy finishes are smother and better at repelling dirt. Flat finishes minimizes surface irregularities. Satin combines the best of both.

HOW CAN I CHECK A CONTRACTOR’S LICENSE?

It is very important to make sure that you hire a licensed, insured and bonded contractor. That will protect you and your house against liabilities and also shows commitment and genuineness from the contractor. To check on a contractor’s license, simply go to: www.oregon.gov/CCB/ , click on “contractor search” and enter the contractor license number.

Yes we do. We have a very good handyman and a great carpenter in our crew. We can do many things; just tell us what project you have in mind.
